Your access request
This demo currently does not accept signup requests. If you previously requested early access, we may retain your email address, product interest and request time on our server to respond and provide occasional product updates. We do not sell this information. You can ask us to remove it at any time by emailing Oandj@sealandstandard.com.
Your games and documents
The current review, camera, benchmark and archive tools process your games, camera frames and imported documents in your browser. Frame recognition and analysis do not upload camera media, imported documents or game inputs to an AI provider. When you choose Backup in Live board, the study PGN and metadata are sent to our server to generate the downloadable JSON file; that request is not saved as a project. The live-board pilot downloads recognition models to your device and runs them in a browser worker. Camera frames, local videos and physical-board photographs are not sent to model providers. Imported archive libraries, camera images and benchmark traces are session data. When you choose Save study or Save changes, we store the game PGN, your notes, source label, selected position and timestamps in this browser’s local storage. The workspace also keeps a temporary draft in this tab’s session storage for recovery after navigation or reload. Live board also automatically keeps its confirmed PGN, source flags, orientation and update time in this browser’s local storage for restoration after reload. This retained record and local video are browser-profile data shared by people using this device profile, not isolated by the signed-in account. One Live board tab at a time can update the retained record. Neither is a cloud backup. Clearing browser data can remove saved studies; closing a tab can remove temporary recovery. Export JSON backups to keep or transfer your notes and games.
Phone video recordings
When you choose Start game (or Record game), raw camera video is written in ordered chunks to this browser’s IndexedDB storage on this device, without audio or a cloud upload. The recorder keeps its recording time, format, dimensions and completion status alongside the video. Completed clips and available interrupted footage remain in this browser until you delete them or browser data is cleared or evicted. They do not sync to another device. Download or share a copy through your phone’s Files or Photos controls for safekeeping. Sharing sends the file only to the destination you choose. Closing the page, locking the phone or switching apps can interrupt recording; unfinished files may not play. Workspace highlights and arrows are not included in raw camera recordings.
Footage review projects
The review room plays your local video in the browser. It does not upload the video bytes. When you choose Save review or Save new copy, we save the review title, video filename and metadata, drawings, notes, PGN, moment links, coach-selected positions, questions and optional coach answers on our server under your signed-in account. A live-session source label and associated local recording ID may also be saved. PGN-only reviews have no video or recording times. Saved projects are restricted to that account. The review room keeps an account-scoped browser draft, including unmarked notes and unattached PGN text, for recovery. One cooperating Review room tab at a time can write this draft where browser locks are supported. Pending text is not saved to your account until you mark a note or attach a game. Browser drafts can be lost if browser data is cleared. Finish & review keeps an immutable local handoff containing any confirmed PGN, source flags and associated recording metadata/ID in this browser profile. A video-only handoff contains an empty move record when no moves were confirmed. It does not upload video. Handoffs are shared by people using that profile; opening one in Review room does not save it to your account until you choose Save review. Once the opened review has a successful browser recovery copy, its temporary handoff is removed; the raw recording is retained. Default JSON, lesson and worksheet exports are generated on your device. Print-ready HTML handouts contain no external assets or cloud-model calls; open the saved file and print it using your browser. Student worksheets exclude the coach answer fields; question text is included, so review it before sharing. If you choose Alternate download, the review data is sent to our server to generate the downloadable JSON file; that export request is not saved as a project. JSON exports contain the review data and PGN, not the video. Keep your original recording to reconnect it when reopening a local-video project. Saved reviews have no automatic expiration in this prototype. Use Delete saved review in the Review room to remove the selected review from your account. This deletes its active saved record; your local video, current open work and browser recovery data remain separate. A later Save can create another saved copy. Delete local recordings and studies using their own controls, or clear browser data; signing out does not erase browser-profile data. Files you exported or shared remain wherever you saved or sent them. Contact us for help or other deletion requests. We cannot remotely erase files on your device or guarantee immediate erasure from provider backups or security logs.
Technical information
We use ChatGPT Sites, provided by OpenAI, for hosting and sign-in. Saved reviews use the site’s database on Cloudflare. The demo is public; saving a review to your account requires sign-in. The hosting and authentication layer processes network requests and supplies the site with your authenticated user ID, email and optional full name. We use your user ID to associate saved reviews with your account. Review notes, PGN player names and video filenames can contain personal information even though video bytes stay on your device. Provider processing is described in the ChatGPT Sites Data Processing Addendum. We have not added advertising trackers. The application does not read browser Do Not Track signals or change its behavior in response to them. This statement concerns our application; hosting and sign-in providers have their own practices. If future tools send content to a cloud model, we will explain that before you use them.
